Kintetsu World Express Sales, Inc. (henceforth referred to as "the company") is a company whose main business activities are freight transport brokerage, order and supply brokerage, proxy handling of warranty and repaired items, import and export brokerage, storage and product processing, delivery and distribution consulting.
The personal information (henceforth referred to as "personal information") that the company obtains from clients and from the company's employees through the course of its business is important information for the company, and the company recognizes that protecting this personal information securely is a vital social obligation.

1. Obtaining, using and providing personal information
- The company will obtain personal information using fair and legal means.
- Personal information will be used within the range needed for the achievement of the purpose of use.
- The company will obtain the prior consent of the person concerned before providing personal information to a third party.
- Personal information obtained will not be used for any purpose other than the designated purpose of use.
- If the need arises to use personal information for other purposes, this will be done after obtaining consent to the new purpose of use.
2. Laws, national guidelines and other standards (henceforth referred to as “laws, etc.” )
The company will strive at all times to understand the laws, etc. regarding the handling of personal information by businesses and will also ensure the employees who work for the company (henceforth referred to as "employees") are familiar with and observe the laws, etc.
3. Safely managing personal information
- The company will speedily build and maintain a structure for corrective measures to safely manage personal information in order to prevent risks such as unauthorized access, leaks, destruction and damage to personal information.
- The company will perform inspections and if it discovers any violations or accidents, it will act speedily to correct them and also implement preventive measures against any vulnerabilities.
- The company will train employees thoroughly on safety.
4. Complaints and consultations
To handle complaints and consultations about the handling of personal information, the company will establish a contact point for personal information inquiries, build a structure capable of responding speedily, and respond with sincerity to all issues.
5. Continuous improvement
- To protect personal information, the company's personal information protection management system will monitor and inspect adherence to internal regulations, endeavor to discover violations, incidents, accidents and vulnerabilities and work through the managers to resolve them. The company will strive to continually improve its personal information protection management system by updating its control policies and internal regulations based on these experiences.
- The improvements will be carried out in conformity with laws, etc. and "Personal information protection management systems - requirements" (JIS Q 15001).
